depends on what you're looking for... if u go to the track or race often, go for the MT as it is more fun to drive... if it's more of a commuter car, go with the AT. it's more than capable of accelerating to pass the old lady, have fun on some twisty roads, and turn some heads on the street.

dude...this decision is ultimately up to you. if you've owned a MT car before..most likely you will end up choosing MT..but dont count the people with AT out. Only those that really know how to use the MT will beat those with AT....

i dunno if its true but it was on import tunner...the MT Vs AT....that the AT was faster...but i think its becuase theres no chance of mis shifting..more perfect shifts etc...but i think a MT still can lose to a At if the diver aint good at driving etc...cuz i raced a stock vs stock and i won...might of been cuz of his/her driving

its all you man...ask yourself what will be more practical for your purposes

i chose the 5at cause its convenient in traffic but i can always switch it over to manumatic to have a lil fun

although manumatic will never be as fun as a real stick...its good enough for my purposes

+1 ... always well spoken Hero! lol

Ultimately you have to figure out how your going to drive and what your preference is.

If you are going to race a lot, go FI possibly, or pretty wild NA, looking for 1/4 mile/street racing - stay true to the race community and go AT.

If your not driving through much traffic, go through canyon roads a lot, maybe want to road race or drift, or just always have had an MT car, your likely a great MT candidate.

Again - you have to figure out what your going to do with the car and how your ultimately going to drive it. You may want to map out your mod goals, have them setup for AT and MT - figure out a budget for the mods, well before buying the car - that way you wont be sorry or stuck later on.

i agree. i drove an auto for 2 years and now i drive a 6mt and i love it. I live in SoCal with tons of traffic and stick is no problem. Go Big or Go Home, go with 6mt.

If your gonna drive your car a lot get the AT. plus, I heard your chances of getting roadhead in a MT increase by like 95 %! (all the good reasons were already taken...lol )
