3d Reference Photos

Hey, i am working on a 3d project involving the creation of a 2003 G35 coupe. However, i need some very high resolution reference images for it, prefarble 1280x 1024 or larger. Currently ive searched online and this forum and came accross some decent ones at www.highresautoimages.com but i need the front, back, and side views to be nearly dead on. You know, completely perpendicular to the car. Also, they need to have good lighting in order to clearly define the contours of the car. If it werent too much to ask, can someone please take some pictures of their car and email them to mea at ngmitter@eden.rutgers.edu ? I dont currently have a car to drive to the dealership to take photos myself. Thanks so much in advance.

Sweet !! I would love to get a hold of the model when you are finished ... I posted about this a while back but nobody replied. It would be nice to have a model to play with for visual modifications. What format are you doing it in ? I know exactly what you are talking about with the photos, you can start by looking in my profile there is a nice side view for you. If you still need more pics let me know, ill see what I can do for ya.

That's cool. My brother did a 3D version of my car for a class. He is a computer graphics and animation major at Purdue. It looks really good. He is in the process of making a video game for a class and he is going to use my car the 3D model of my car in the game. I can't wait to check it out. Good luck. I can try and get the pics he took of my car if you still need them. I don't know how big they are or if he still has them, but I can ask.

Re: 3d Reference Photos

here is a pic of a porsche ive been working on lately
I use 3d studio max 5(and 6 now) primarily for my 3d modeling. Also, would you mind giving a closeup of the headlights, tailights, and perhaps as many other detailed parts as possible? Sorry to bother you but sicne my mom bought a g35 sedan a couple months ago, ive been in love with the car and really want to make this my most detailed 3d model ever.

Nice work on the porshe. Sweet .... I know 3D Studio max too. Would love to get a hold of the G model. I will be going to the car wash tommorow and then I can make some high quality pictures for shaders. Do you need interior too ?

Re: 3d Reference Photos

this model took about 75-100 hours.

And yes, interior pics of steeering wheel, instrument cluster, seats, doorpanels, and maybe even the engine would be much appreciated too.

Wow, I don't know what are all those red, white and yellow cars in that picture, but did you see that black Beetle in the back. Now that's a car. Exotic of the year, go VW !!!!
