So besides the coupe concept we have all seen pictures of, are there any actual spy shots of the coupe coming out for the 08 model year? I am so conflicted as to whether to get an 07 or wait for an 08. The 08 coupe should be out by summer right? I keep hearing its gonna be atleast 330hp also, but i dont know how accurate that is. After seeing the redesigned 07 sedan and how good that looks I think I may wait for the 08 to come out...

Just looking for any info/pics/links that can tell me more about this mysterious car...

 

i thought the 08's were supposed to be out fall of 07? maybe i'm wrong... but if i were u, i would just go with the 06 or 07, lease it if you must have the new styling soon. i personally try to stay away from the first year production of a 'new' car...

Although, this was largely a redesign instead of an overhaul of the sedan~ I saw it and it's fierce. I don't think you'd regret the 300hp AWD!

 

Yes, there will be many many improvements 2-3 years after the debut of a car.

 

Honestly, I am not at all concerned about it being a first year for the new gen. Its not an xbox360, its a freakin car. And a damn well built car at that. And as someone else mentioned, its not like its a new car just coming out from scratch, its taking a winning formula and just improving on it. Besides, if something acts up, thats what warranty is for

I havent however heard of there being AWD in this upcoming model, can anyone confirm that?

It's not a Ford- no offense against Ford but this will be a product of already proven technology.
I beleive that this is going to be a step up from our curent generation G's

I am in the same position as you, but im gonna wait to get the 08 instead of
the 1st generation..Y? because it looks better, more power, looks more furturistic, also when you pull up by a later model...the look on there face will be priceless!

 

I'm just debating on the new coupe or a BMW 335. I think I would certainly like the G better, but I wish they'd let the thing out already so I don't get ancy and go buy a BMW. My 03 G35 coupe is wonderful, but I'm ready for the new one.

 

It's actually the best deal going. The new interior is sweet. navi is beautiful. And you get AWD with no sacrifice on horsepower. (like lexus IS does). At lynnes infiniti they had about 4 of them. they had the rwd model, the awd model and the new G35s model. I should have taken pics.
