Cool just bought...now wanna mod

hey guys and gals, i just bought my first car after driving my grandfathers honda accord 84 for the last 9 yrs. what an upgrade, now i was just wondering what mods are best for my g35. i was reading a lot about stillen parts, and what kind of intake system i should buy so that i dont have to remove the engine cover... also i heard you guys talk a lot about spacers that allow for better air flow but all the ones i see require the removal of the cover. and i also wanted to purchase some blowoff valves and header...some help would be greatly appriciated.

Blowoff valve wont work unless tou go towards the forced induction route. As for an intake system if you go with AEM of INJEN you wont need to remove the engine cover. And as for spacers anything in the 5/16'' route do not need any engine cover removals. As for Stillen Parts i believe (not 100% sure) they are the only parts that wont void any dealer warranties you have on your car. Congrats on the new car man! Big upgrade lol You will love it!

Congrats on the upgrade

Intakes, Exhausts, Spacers, and Pulleys are relatively easy mods that won't drain your wallet too badly. Just search around and you will find a ton of info on your options.

Good luck

I would recommend one of the first things you do is sound dampening. Try to do as much of the cabin as possible (if anything do door panels and rear quarter panels). You will be suprised when you take off the door panel that there is nothing between the plastic of the door panel and the metal of the door (top notch build quality!*cough*cough) This was one of my first mods and it was definitely worth it! Thats why I am recommending this now. There was an overall improvement in stereo quality due to reduction of vibration and keeping the sound in the car and also reduction in road noise. I would say this mod is a must for every g driver. If someone says otherwise they dont have dampening and dont know the difference it makes . There is a great DIY around here somewhere if someone would be so kind and link it would help our new member out!
