Aftermarket nav on 04 Gcoupe

first, i'm planning to put oem nav on my car, but it's look very complicated, so i decided to get aftermarket. any body knows which one is good n affordable? avic z1 or eclipse? or
http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetai...ode=DSH%2D002?

about avic z1 and eclipse, is it gonna replace my radio tape? or i will pop out like oem nav? what is the special feature for those navi? and the price. thanks for helping.

Someone really didn't want to search before they posted. z1 replace your stock. You do know eclipse is a brand and not just one item correct? Affordable is in the eye of the beholder. But honestly maybe you can be the smart one out of all of use and just upgrade to the factory. We learned the hard way that stock is better and has more features than any aftermarket.

So pain you'll go through getting stock will be well worth it! Post pics during and after

I personally like the Eclipse units, but look at Alpine and Clarion. Those units will give you nice CD sound too.

There was someone here that installed an aftermarket DVD/Navi player where the factory one goes. Can someone please post that picture?

I hope i am the only one you have ever heard say that. As much as it would have been nice to buy my g35 with navi i knew the 2k for z1 would be a much wiser bet, the back up monitor is cool, not to mention dvd and all the other useless things that kids like to fiddle with

Wow this is the first time i've been the tool talking about people searching. Go search for it b/c there was a person here who fabricated and sold the monitor and other things that are needed to put a pop up screen in the slot.

No OEM navigation. Pioneer Z1 all the way. I was just tooling around with this person. I do know they are a newbie, how i am a new owner of 3 weeks, but i at least browsed the board since 03 and learned how to read before posting questions. I was all about this stuff when people were trying to figure out how to get dvd's to play on the Stock nav. That was ages ago

if you have no clue what you're doing take it to a reputable shop. i believe that is just the screen and housing. you'll need the hardware for navigation and streetdeck software. someone correct me if i'm wrong. did anyone else notice mp3car.com spelled infiniti wrong?

I did the double din install on my 2004.5 coupe and went with the Eclipse avn5435. I would have went for the Z1, but my budget couldn't afford it. here's the link https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/119268-willow-dd-finsiher.html
