well....I would honestly leave it as is. but if it came down to it, I would take it off and start from scratch again. Im sure your 35% on black on black looks nice and clean.

i used to have 20% all around, and i personally thought it was too dark to see out the front. ( but looks great ).

you should definetly remove the 35% before applying the 20% tint. good luck! and watch out for those cops!

Of course you should remove it then retint it with what you want. I am not even sure the shop would put tint over tint

i have 15% all around while a friend chose 5% all around on his that very same day, we both got ours tinted together, i decided i wanted dark, but so dark that i couldnt see around me at night, but to be honest, 5% aint too bad either at night. it comes down to your taste...

Have the windshield tinted with 50 or 35% and it will make the rest of the tint appear darker, thats one solution

or rolling down both windows at night when it's raining and 40 deg. out

but i love it

5 % on a black car is the best

When I bought my car it already had 35% on it. i took it to the tint shop and added another layer of 35%. Its perfect during the day dark at night but bareable. Haven't had any issuse with the double layer yet.

I wonder if the 35% over the 35% is lighter than the 20% by itself. I would have done the 20% from jump but I have to drive by the Highway Patrol office every day on the way to work and did not want to have the hassle of being pulled over for just the tint.

We have 35% on our G. If you get it too dark, it's hard to see at night. Plus most fix-it-ticket for dark tint cost around $200.

its too late already to put another layer over, it will just peel off, they have to be fresh and put right on after eachother. (i was told). rip of the 35 and put 2 20's. go big or go home.

$200???? It costs MAYBE $20 to remove the tint from the drivers and passengers side if you have to. The fix it ticket only costs $10 - at least here in CA that's all it costs.

If you re-tint after - then figure about $60 -

All in all - Less than $100...

Now with that said - I have 2% on the back 3 windows, 5% on the driver/passenger windows, and 50% on the windshield. I LOVE IT and on IP it looks SWEET!

I have only needed to partially roll down a window to see where I was going a few times....but not a big deal. I worry more about a Valet parking it that cannot see

Rick
