just had winter tires put on my car, hankook ice bear w300. after i left the tire place i noticed that the tread on the driver side seem to be pointing the wrong way(these tires its kind of hard to tell though). on every tire it has the "outside" mark on the outside of the car so im not sure if they are supposed to be like that or if theyre wrong. It says they have a assymetric tread design but i dont know what that means with tires. was i supposed to get 4 different tires for front left, front right, back left and back right? any help would be great. thanks

 

ok, i found that assymetric can roll either way as long as they have the "outside" mark facing the right way. but it just looks like somethings off. anybody know?

 

I've had the Ice Bears for two years and it does look weird - the tires on each side are pointing in the same direction! I double checked the "outside" mark and they are correct. Doesn't seem to make any diffrence in the handling either.
