How to reset tire pressure?
I just changed my 19" wheels to 17" winters and the tire pressure light is on and it won't go off, but the pressure is correct. I am told that I have to reset the tire presure, does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
usually people dont put the TPS sensors in their winter setup. and i'm willing to bet that you didnt either.
without TPS...that light will continue to stay on. to my knowledge, there is no way of turning it off.

however, if you did put the TPS in there....drive around for a while..it usually takes time for it to turn off...
and if you have no idea about what im talking about...i'm banking on that you didnt get the TPS switched out from the 19s to the 17s

You can't reset the TPS your self or the foot thing, last time i spoke to the dealer they said they will have to use computer to reset it and it will cost about $120 for doing that.
My winter set of 18s does not have the sensors, and my light does not go on. If you're missing all 4 sensors the light stays off as it knows it has nothing to monitor, as per my dealer.

Trying not to sound like an idiot, but here goes...so if I can't shut the light off and I drive with the light on for now, when I put my 19's back on in the Spring the light should go away right? .... oh, and I didn't put these tires on myself...the tire place put it on. They told me to bring it back to them and they will reset it for me, but it's kinda far so thought i could do it myself.
