Costco does insurance? What doesn't that company have a hand in selling

I have Progressive. Reasonable rates esp cz I had 3 points on my record. Thing is, if you get a speeding ticket and get a point, Progressive will count it as 2 pts.

So hear this out, I had a 2pt violation, and a 1pt violation. The 2pt dropped off, and I went from 3pts, to 2pts. I called and asked why, they said they count the first as two. So it saved me money on the 3pts, but I didn't get credit from the 2pts dropping off.

Other than that, they haven't been too bad, but haven't put any claims through yet.

If I were you, try to get your State Farm rate down by talking to the rep in your area. If he can't help you, dump'em.

my dad has only 1 ticket in his driving life and i don have any ticket of points taken off..

this is my first accident and hopefully last...

im going to talk to my agent but the thing is he talked to us about including the home equity loan with state farm and that would lower our insurence bill. But we got some mony back from state farm few month later we got billed extra.

My dad is really pissed of at the service..It took them two weeks to reply for my cars claim. and another week just to come and check my car. its just too much hassle now with the state farm.

Back when i did have geico (got kicked off because of too many speeding tickets and one accident), they processed my claims real fast. When i got into several accidents (both at and not-at-fault), everytime they would come down the next day to examine my car and issued me a check the following business day. They have 24/7 phone customer service.

progressive.

thats just my $0.02. Im an agent btw.

its not gonna make a big deal in any, since regardless, they will ask ur previous company for loss runs. I just prefer progressives price and service.

yeah it is. I use USAA as well but you have to be military, x military, or a close family member who has used USAA. It's considerably more expensive but service and everything is outstanding. They gave me a rental for a month before I bought my new car (using the standard plan)

Stay away from USAA. I am a military guy so i can tell you if you get into trouble you are going to wish you were still with state farm. I travel a lot out of state so State Farm is best for me. I say this cause with state farm if you get a ticket out of your home state for speeding it does not go on your state farm account I know cause I have 4 tickets on NC and 2 in SC and none are on my insurance. USAA is a national type thing were as they check every 6 months or so on your record or maybe it is a year and they go through a national database so if you are from GA and get a ticket in Cali. Well it might not hit quickly but it will. I have had plenty of marines below me ask for help when they are trying to get rid of USAA cause of this cause there premiums would go through the roof. I am not sure why your insurance jumped so much. I have had three accidents and a two speeding tickets on my insurance and I am still the same. They have paid out almost 100k for me in the past 5 years I pay 100 a month for the 04 G and 67 a month for my 2000 BMW. I had a Tahoe at one point and I was at 70 a month on that. I am only 25 and the insurance is in my name and I get a multi car discount. I can't explain why yours is so much maybe your agent doesn't like you or something. I have a 1k deductible also so that is one reason why yours is more plus I removed a lot of the extra added on things like rental cars and such since I have two cars there is no need for a rental plus I knocked the accident coverage down from 100k which is the default. I guess I am screwed if I his a lambo or a prancing horse.. Also make sure that the car that cost the most for insurance is listed as a leisure car so that the premium is lower.
