USAA is a national type thing were as they check every 6 months or so on your record or maybe it is a year and they go through a national database so if you are from GA and get a ticket in Cali. Well it might not hit quickly but it will. I have had plenty of marines below me ask for help when they are trying to get rid of USAA cause of this cause there premiums would go through the roof. I am not sure why your insurance jumped so much. I have had three accidents and a two speeding tickets on my insurance and I am still the same. They have paid out almost 100k for me in the past 5 years I pay 100 a month for the 04 G and 67 a month for my 2000 BMW. I had a Tahoe at one point and I was at 70 a month on that. I am only 25 and the insurance is in my name and I get a multi car discount. I can't explain why yours is so much maybe your agent doesn't like you or something. I have a 1k deductible also so that is one reason why yours is more plus I removed a lot of the extra added on things like rental cars and such since I have two cars there is no need for a rental plus I knocked the accident coverage down from 100k which is the default. I guess I am screwed if I his a lambo or a prancing horse.. Also make sure that the car that cost the most for insurance is listed as a leisure car so that the premium is lower.
one of the reson its more in the maxima because the took of my good driver + good student discount. That what the agent told my dad.
but the thing is The FX that my dad drives that shouldnt go up. Im insured under the maxima so i can understand. but even before the acident we got a bill for $70+ to pay and after the accident the premium went up from 700+ to 935+ dollar for six months.
the thing is we got discount for putting ur home equatiy loan with them but also getting extra billed. I have been away so i haven t got a chace to talk to the agent or meet him.
The accident was minor
but it took them almost a month to set up a date so then can check my car.
Also we are more seeking toward Geico.

They don't search a national DB, that's just stupid. They only query your record from your home state. How most states (A fair amount) share information between states that are close together because they figure drivers go between them often. For instance MD, VA, and DC all share records for speeding violations. USAA runs a report once a year, and their pricing is not that far off from SF.

I only speak from experience USAA is big with the military and everyone of my marines that had it got jacked as soon as they got a ticket in another state. I don't know how they find out I was guess which I said. I just know that for example a Marine named Campos had USAA and Texas as his home state and he got a ticket in NC which is where we were stationed and the next month he got a letter saying his premium was being increased because of traffic violations. He has since switched to Geico. I am not a pushing State Farm and my rates might be lower with USAA but as soon as that ticket hits you are jack especially if you are under 25. I drive fast and I am not going to lie so when I get a ticket is outside of the 19 over range so it goes on my insurance if I am in my home state.
As far as your experience goes with the premium going up talk to your agent. It really sounds like they don't give a **** about your business so you should probably leave of get a new agent you should also write a letter to the corporate office about your experience and tell them you are switching to geico. Letters will get the ball rolling trust me. I work for a Corp office and when a customer complains the letters go across the CEO's desk. He reads them and he makes changes. Go Big Orange if you know what I mean. Next, it sounds like you have a bad one cause every time something happens they appraised the next day or the day after and in some cases they told me to go to a body shop they had on a list and get it appraised and the body shop would tell them the amount an then they would approve it the that day. The only time I had a hard time was when my Tahoe was stolen it took them a month to pay it and then a another month for gap insurance to take car of the rest of it.
