I really don't know any place, I went to my dealer to get them resurfaced. They were asking $175 per rim. Its steep, but I haven't done any research to get it done somewhere else. I've been through a lot already with this car and I'm trying to make sure the car looks like I just drove it out for the first time. Just got the car washed today =) hopefully no snow for this week.

I wasn't exactly sure if he wanted to go at first because he was about 35-40 and didn't really acknowledge me (he also rolled back so he must've had a 6 speed, I'm a 5AT). I said what the hell and got ready just in case. I launch, but to my dismay there was a bit of ice/snow left over where my car was standing and despite brand new Blizzak LM-22s my traction control turned on (didn't turn it off earlier, just in case I slipped out god forbid) Anyway he had a perfectly open and dry lane and by the time I realized he was also going at it, it was too late. I try to recoup despite a terrible shift in tiptronic mode and do my best to keep up. We both let off at about 90-100 and by then he had me by 1 1/2 lengths.

I felt so stupid that I messed it up but at least the other guy was nice. We got to the exit for I-55 and he waved politely and went on his way. After reading a bunch of stories about how the Eclipses aren't that fast I figure I'd go for it and I would've had him if it wasn't for that snow!!
where in chicago do you live?

I live in Lemont. Not a very big suburb of Chicago, about 15-20 min. from Joliet and about 30 from the actual city.

And thanks for the concern guys, believe me I love my car and definitely would not want to hurt it. The conditions weren't as bad as I might have made them seem to be but I will admit it wasn't the greatest decision either way.

yep the first day of the big snow storm I had to go to work and saw a total of 14 cars off the road and stuck, only 2 were rwd (GTO and brand new s55 amg). 3 were AWD, one STI (must have had the summer tires on). Also saw a black 350z with 20 inch chrome wheels being pushed through the intersection.
