I have one right now but it may have to come off when I change to the greddy TT in a week. I would say that it does help a little.

I know there are multiple points where the dampeners connect to more solid areas. But WTH is that? You're saying that at one of the points that tiny little 10-12mm bolt is taking stress from engine torque? Pretty bad design in my opinion...

I have the stillen one, it took a while to install with its little space design. I noticed slight better more crisp shifts. However it came loose where the joint screws into the main shaft, this is not suppose to happen.

Appreciate this link, btw. I think I trust weapon R over stillen.

wow that whole thing is held on by a hex nut...I bet this will help, stillen talks about how the engine takes a dive whenever we hit the breaks in out cars too.

Last two mods that went on were the stillen engine damper and the wiring kit. Shifts now in auto and MM are very smooth and quick. Due to the damper? Due to the wiring kit?--who knows. Winter here now so really haven't had a chance to wring it out at all. One thing I did notice right away was a slight vibration felt in the steering wheel in idle. Goes away if kicked into neutral, but not enough to really bother.

To be honest with you it is more than likely the wires that gave the better performance not saying the damper didn't help. I am going to install one on my car so I will let everyone know if it makes the shifts better. I already have the grounding kit from gordee installed.
