The G35 Sucks

...Cold air that is...

29 degrees +
4 High Performance All Season Sport Tires (because the Summer Pilots suck in the winter)+
280 plus HP =
1 fun car to drive

Just thought I'd share.

My G loves colder air too. She seems to ride faster.

I was thinking the same thing this morning while driving to work. It was 15 deg F outside and my G was lovin' that cold air. Throttle response felt really crisp.

Edit: Sorry... this is the first time I had my G out in really cold air. I bought only 2 months ago.

Was wondering when the temp is cold, does the G feels like it's running with a cold air intake? Thoughts?

Of course it feels that way. Same thing happens when i bring the bike out on a cool summer spring day.

The G however i don't step on the gas so i notice no difference. maybe ill try to pass some traffic after work

How newb can you be guys. Of course your car loves cold weather. Common sense. Cool air = dense air. The more fuel and air you can get in your car the more hp you can produce. This is why people add boost to cars.

You are newb to think we don't know the reason. We're just making comments judging the difference.

Hardly a newb... I have owned lots of cars (I'm 45 years old) and some respond more positively to cold air than others, so I was noting this aspect about my G. In comparison, my '02 PT Cruiser doesn't have a MAF sensor and doesn't seem to respond much differently on a 10 deg or 90 deg day.

You usually get about a 1% horsepower gain per every 8 to 9 degree drop in air temperature, assuming humidity and pressure are similar. Realisticly, humidity is usually a lot lower in winter though, but humidity doesn't have that much of an impact on the equation.... but pressure does.

That's pretty cool. That would mean that I'm getting approx. 22 more horses now than I do in the summer.

To he** with FI! I'll just move to Canada! LOL!
