Where do I get throttle body sensors??

Guys- it's been over a year since I've been on the message boards. Sorry if this has been posted. I searched and found plenty of info on throttle body sensors but does anyone know where I can buy the parts?? I need to have the part replaced by next week for emmissions and the dealer wants almost 1k for the parts and labor. I figured I can find it for less online and have my mechanic do it for me. thx in advance!!

I'm not sure what you mean by "throttle body sensors". Are you taking about the throttle position sensor (TPS)? I'm not sure the TPS is a separate part on the G35.

Anyway, a new throttle body will set you back about $440 from http://www.riversideinfiniti.com/

Here's a used one on e-bay for $200

Don't forget to buy a new throttle body gasket too.

This is pretty easy to intall. You just have to remember to do all the throttle position reset proceedures when you are done. I can send these to you if need them.

I just check the service manual for my '04 G35. It confirms what I already said in that the TPS is an intergral part of the throttle body (electric throttle control actuator as its called in the manual), so that means you have to replace the whole throttle body.

Doc... you are correct. My check engine light came on and it was a TPS error. The dealership ended up replacing the entire throttle body. There is one other sensor, but I'm not sure where it is.

Its proabably the pedal postion sensor attached to the gas pedal since this is a drive by wire throttle system.

Nissan/Infiniti has been covering so many of these under powertrain warranty (5/70) that they now have a FACTORY RE-MAN. PN 16119-8J103 is replaced with 1611K-8J10BRE.
LIST $140.!!! If your powertrain coverage is expired BUY THE RE-MAN.
