Newbie To The G35 Coupe Family
Newbie To The G35 Coupe Family
Good afternoon G-Heads, no offense, I have the opportunity to purchase a G 35 Coupe, although the payments are stiff! I am curious to the Infiniti service packages, tire and wheel coverage / maintenance coverage / dent coverage / GAP coverage / I think that this is covered until 100 000 miles Of course the dealer makes profit on all but is it cost effective for me? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Thanks
let me say this nicely before you get flamed:
just about all questions you have, have all been covered earlier. Because of this, we encourage searching before asking in a new thread. I know, I know.. you were just looking for a quick answer and wanted to introduce yourself. No biggie.
Answers:
Usually, the service packages are only good if you think your dealership will actually cover that stuff under their warranty. Also, coverage of that take effect AFTER your factory warranty runs out. Tire and wheel coverage is nice, but I believe it only covers damage that makes the wheel non-functional (rather than cosmetic... which describes everything but the worst case scenario). Maintenance is good if you are willing to pay dealer prices for service that could be rendered for quite a lot less. If it covers clutch and brakes, then maybe it might be worth it. Dent coverage, I have no idea what that is. You'll want to read the fine print on that, it might be a scheme that merely pays your deductible rather than actually covering it. GAP coverage is pretty useless, but that's really up to you.
Finally, you'll have to tell us a bit more about yourself for us to be able to tell you whether it'll be cost effective for you.
