HELP: 2003, 2003.5?, 2005, 2006 Differences in the G35 Coupe Engine and Aesthetic
Hi, I'm new to the site but not new to forums. I tried searching some items but perhaps its either because I'm searching for the WRONG thing or maybe not seeing what I think im looking for in the Subject titles, I'm not finding my answer. So I apologize if its been asked before (and it probably has.)
I'm looking at buying a G35 6MT Coupe right now, just trying to find the color I like but Im deciding on year.
From what I understand: (G35 Coupes 6MT)
2003-2004: No change
2005: Revup engine (Increase HP, decrease TQ), No brembo, Center console change
2006: Same as 2005 w/ Tail Light change + bluetooth added to premium pack
2007: Same as 2006 but lower HP numbers because of new SAE rating system?? something like that.
and I could go on but I will not be considering a 2008+ as I'm not really liking how it looks plus I really can't afford it.
So Im pretty sure that information is only half right at best, would someone be able to help me with this please? Also lastly, what does the .5 (ie: 2003.5) refer to. Im guessing a late year 2003 but is the change significant enough to denote a new year?

oh ok lemme revise this list:
Early 2003: Whatever.
2003.5: Same as 2003 but with revised armrest area.
2004: Same as 2003.5 but with HID (reflector).
2005: Same as 2004 but Revup VQ35DE motor, Revised interior center console, No BREMBO calipers.
2006: Same as 2005 but with HID (Projectors) and revised taillights. SPort Pkg became standard.
2007: Same as 2006. Decrease horsepower or something.
Sound right? And speaking of performance, the POTENTIAL of all Non revup VQ's are the same (across all years) and the POTENTIAL of all revup VQ's are the same (across all years) right? Just depends on top end power or mid?
