The dealer told me that the breaks on the 06 G are as good as the BREMBO! I don't understand why Infiniti would downgrade the brakes on a newer model!!!!!! Probably cost, right??

04 is the best because of the more torque.

If you've ever driven the Brembo cars you will notice a huge different immediately. I have driven the 05s and the brakes are sloppy comapred to the Brembos--and I won't listen to anyone trying to say anything different!

I thought HID's were standard for all coupes, but i met 3 coupe owners so far without them, that sucks @ss!!!!

I love the 06 for
Bluetooth ...I hate the 06 spoiler (hate is a strong word) but i HATE the 06 spoiler with a passion

I love my '04 just like all 03-07 G35 coupes ...but like everyone said already BREMBO's baby!!!

I wish I had bluetooth soooo bad becuz im on my phone all day ...but wouldnt trade it for my brembos no way in h3ll

wen i see other G's on the road first thing I look at is what kind of rims they have & next is Brembo's

i have an 03 and my car has HID's...maybe the 03 AT's didn't come with HID's...i love my car, no problems except for the tranny chattering, but all

year g's have that problem...i like all year g's but you gotta love the stock BREMBO's!!! i'm also not a fan of the new tail lights...i like my circle reverse

lights...i wouldn't mind projectors and a sport bumper with skirts though

I like the 05 and the main reason was the rear spoiler.. and of course the Revup motor. i do like the 06 tail lights better but not enough to buy a set... bluetooth to me is like a vibrator id never need it...

i dont think IvoryGT was being snobbish
but 1k for Brembos no no no

if used 1k about 4k new ...just for calipers
$250+ for new pads
then another 500+ for rotors ...u cant use non-Brembo rotors u know
then more $$$ for brake lines
honestly ppl would rather go Brembo than another brand ...I think ppl only go with other BBK's because buying Brembos new are just not worth the $$$$ compared to other companies prices, u get same quality for less thats why so many use other brands, if they have a non-Brembo car

u said 4k for power seats? wtf
maybe i mis-read but do u think 03-04 didnt come with power seats? i have never seen a G without PS was this an option?

so far more ppl have voted for '06 & '05 but the 04 ppl are making all the noise
No No, not $4K for the Power Seats Sheesh! Re-read my posts...but basically Rims, aluminum, dash and trims, Power Reclining Seats (they all are powered, but the 05-06 have the power reclining...pretty useless though), MREV+ (to get the 05+ HP), and Rods.

You guys are still going on about the Brembo's costs? I'm talking about the OEM Brembos, not aftermarket Brembos. You can get them used for about $1K (with everything you need). If you want to talk retail, then the retail on the rims are $800 each ($3200 for all four)

I'm not calling him a snob, he said it first so I was just repeating it Yes, we all have our reasoning for buying the model that we did so I'm sure we all like what we have. These posts sometimes bring out the Evil in us

Maybe it was not easily understood the point I was trying to convey, though most of wouldn't get every option there is nor agree on all the updates. But I think it was granted that Brembos were the number one item people wish they had stock. I don't care for the rest of the updates of the interior, I like mine just fine. Plus looking at brand new retail prices, it was just not worth it for me to begin with. Maybe it would seem like Im making a better point if infact I didnt drive a 04. But I do, but that has nothing to do with why I stick up for 04. If any of the new years have the combo I have, I'd trade it and call it a better year.

dude ....that dealer was blowin so much smoke up ur @ss it aint even funny!!
...lots of full blown race cars have Brembos, Lambo's, Ferrari's & Poshe come with them ...u cant believe there is no difference?

FYI Infiniti downgraded because Brembo pads cost around $250+ to replace front & back pads (probly cost a lot more at a stealership)
meanwhile if u are a speed demon like most G owners are, pads will only last about 12k-25k miles (depending on how u drive), so the dealer was getting the shaft by replacing the pads so often at the cost of $250+ for pads, 500+ for rotors + labor!!!
so they downgraded to regular pads which probly cost them about $15-$25 a set at wholesale price

...If 06 came with them I probly woulda sold my car long time ago

I say 03'/04' are better b/c we've had more time to drive the car =)

04' over 03' b/c they fixed the small bugs!

I like the 05 because I think the smooth tail lights look better than the new style. That plus 19" rims and Rev up. Best year!!! IMHO of course

interior of 05 is better than older ones.

for bluetooth, get the Parrot set up, with the adapter harness (it's pretty much plug and play for stock radio).

their is not that big of a difference in 05 interior. When i went to buy my car in 05 i test drove one and yes im very picky about things and yes the 05 interior does look slightly better but when i was buying a car that difference didn't exist. plus everyone is always complaining about rattles. I still dont have any on my 43,758 mile 04. i wish i had that mp3 player though i wont lie.
if i was in the g market now it would be 04 or an 06

03,
because if you have one like me its all paid up so no monthly outgoings and more money for mods.
You can also play around with mods on an older car, i could never mess with a car thats a year old

06 best year, imo.
First year of RAS (rear active steer). Makes a difference in handling....yes it really does.

And Bluetooth, though mine is a pos.
