SEARCH!!! there have been threads about this. a couple of the guys here have talked with salesmen at infiniti dealerships and they have confirmed these rumors. More than likely it will be a hard top convertable. Any new stuff you hear about the 08 coupe has more than likely already been talked about here. Everything that dude on your link is saying is pretty much wrong or in accurate.

 

According to everyone the 08 Coupe will have 500 hp, Lambo Doors, Quad Exhauast, with a hardtop for only $19,999.........

 

i do think they will come out with a convertible (and likely hardtop conv) for the next gen G35. look at the upcoming hardtop conv BMW 3 series. it has been rumored for a couple of years now with an G35 conv. and i have read it a few times in mags and some online sites. obviously, nothing is offcial until we SEE it for ourselfs, however, sometimes its fun to speculate.
i dont know why some people always flame speculations so much?? its one thing spreading stupid rumors, but it's fun to have a lil speculations at times. many times, mag speculations/rumors do come true...

 

My logic has been that the G35 is the Skyline right? Well, I have never heard or seen a factory convertable on a skyline. I figured they would keep it non-convertable.

 

all you people need to search the forum. based on what everybody here has said there will be a convertable coming out. Would you say before the z32 convertable came out that there won't be a convertable z32 available because it wasn't offered in the last model? That's really dumb.

 

Sales Guys are usually the least informed. I remember a sales guy at a Lincoln dealer telling my father that the doors of a 1995 (at the time) Town Car were re-enforced with Cast Iron. They barely know their current products most of the time.
