L.A is a big county with lots of cities in it not all of L.A has traffic .try being stuck on 405 for hours when it should only take twenty minutes to get home.not using as a excuse but i love my auto. The point is everyone has a their preference who cares which is faster.

The g is a luxury car if you wanted to go aggressive i would have got a z .which by the way i test drove first at universal city nissan but ended getting g somewhere else.It just feels more pimp to have a G.I test drove cars for two months and never thought I was going to end up with a G.

I can't find the video but it was interesting...I enjoy just driving the can and shifting so i just like a manual because i have control. My 2 cents...

there are a number of cars, stock, which are quicker in the 1/4 and to 60 in AT trim rather than MT. The supra was the first one to come to mind. Car and driver made this discovery a while back in one of their magazines, many years ago. I love the MT so I would no doubt go with that. AT are boooooorring

I really hate to see the usual excuses such as:

"Theres too much traffic around"

I live in Los Angeles, and trust me, it's statistically the city with the most traffic

"I got a chick in the car that wants to ___________"

Another lame excuse.

No offense ofcourse
.

Ummm people do have a valid argument against MT in big cities, especially if they do a lot of dead stop traffic.

I suppose if he made a legit argument about autos with turbo will not lose boost and is faster than any manual, rather than making the assumption that most of us suck at driving MT. I'll race your 5at anyday with bald tires even, see how fast you are.

Im sure someone would have a exact answer to that, but 5AT is geared far less aggressive than 6mt

Manual is faster then automatic if s person knows what he is doing, but from reading and watching videos, 80% ppl dont use the manual right and lose races.... just get automatic
doesnt matter if you know manual or not.. once you make it to the 2nd gear (with all the jerks and stuff) you will fly faster

i like the 6mt because i can feel the car when i shift but hate it when i am in traffic. Also the 6mt can redline but i don't think an automatic can redline at any gear. can someone correct me on that?
