y would u want ur car to say nissan instead of infiniti? want it to look cheaper... this rebadging stuff makes no sense to me leave the orginals or take em off ...

 

Not to knock your comment about being cheap. But Infiniti is Nissan, like Acura is Honda, Lexus is Toyota. These high end names are just for American public to think they have a better car. It's just a way the auto makers to get more buyers and to hike up the price, add fancy features. Why would you buy an Escalade when a Avalance is the same truck with less fancy emblems and cheaper.
I was stationed in Japan for 8 1/5 years in the early 90s and all that ran around Japan were Toyotas, Nissan, Honda. Just like the Saturn Sky, People in the states thought it was neat and something new. I was also stationed in Germany before retiring where a Saturn Sky is just an Opel Speedster. And it been running around year before GM decided to bring it to the States. Pontiac GTO platform came from the land down under(Australia). I can go on for days. People have different taste, if someone wants Nissan emblem, so be it. We put a Carbon fiber hood and Skyline style grille on my son's G35 because that's what he wanted. Some comment said they like it and some don't. As long as my son was happy, that's all that matters. I was in Japan driving turbo silivas and hung out with guys driving nissan Skylines, RX-7, Toyota Levins before some board member were born or just in diapers. How many of you remember Datsun before Nissan?
