Hello guys! My name is Thanh Phan. I am the automotive director at HIN. I would first like to state that I am disgusted with this thread. How political do people need to be and start throwing false accusations out there to justify themselves. I'd rather you not drag HIN into this because this is just bs! We throw an event series, we don't do our own judging simply because of this! We don't want the outcome of our show competition to affect our sponsorship fulfillments. It's that SIMPLE! That is why a 3rd party does the judging. If a sponsor is mad b/c their car didn't win then we lose a sponsorship? c'mon why would we put ourselves in that position. Think about it before making those accusations.

Personally I would like to talk to all parties involved and find out what you are all thinking. This is just damn childish. Pissed off that company "A" sponsored car won't win because HIN is sponsored by company "B"? idiotic comment! Just read the rule book and guidelines that was released at the beginning of the year. Please also note that there are other cars that are backed by different sponsors also who are winning the competitions. I don't want to name names out here on a public forum but just look at competition results and you'll see.

I dont know why this case is being regarded as different from any other vehicle that wins' or loses w/ a sponsor. Maybe its special b/c its owned by a girl? If anything thats the sort of stuff we love! that commands alot more respect. And I've met Dara and seen how into the car she gets which makes it even more cool but this is an all time low and I dont know how to take this all in just yet. I dont' know whose involved and whose creating fake SN's but please feel free to discuss w/ me any objections and/or concerns any of you may have. I think i've proved myself to be driven and open to do better things for the enthusiast community. There are alot of programs out there right now that are free and beneficial to competitors if you search around. We're not all about making money and screwing people so lets not play the "Devil" routine. Some of us are actually just into cars and being car guys/gals.

Inquiries can be addressed in the NCCA rule book thats already been passed out at every event. My Contact info is on www.HotImportNights.com if you really want to discuss on an open platform to understand how simple the process is feel free to contact me.

Whether you like HIN shows or not, the show may not be for everyone. But agreed..... this thread is just stupid. Next time you have another idiotic comment please feel free to ejaculate your idiotic comments in another forums eye.

I'm glad the real Andy and this guy stepped in to settle this.

That fake andy was making some very uneducated statements. Although anyone who knows HIN and NCCA could see something fishy about thoes posts. If thoes posts and the post originator are really Dora posting, then I've lost respect for her as a competitor. These other winners seems to have paid their dues to follow the rules, so congats to them. People like David H spent a lot of time and Money to be at all the shows around the country all year long. I have respect for people with dedication like that.

Everybody has a personal preference but I will attest Dara's car is phenomenal in person. The amount of engineering into that vehicle is just amazing. Most people have a problem w/ the paintjob but as a personal preference that car demands attention and that paintjob fits what they are pursuing. Either way, if its your style or not you gotta respect the amount of work put into that thing!

First time I saw that car I was all "ooohs!"

regardless of her time/effort into her car I still think if she really did impersonate andy goodman (having the same IP) then thats very childish and dishonorable. It was explained why she was stripped of her title, and i find that to be pretty fair. it's frustrating to lose, but being a sore loser doesn't build your case..and for all its worth!!! PLEASE!!! ITS I-N-F-I-N-I-T-I with the an I!!!! I don't know when you debadged yoru trunk, but please read the letters on your G before you mispell your own "pride and joy" SUCKAS!!!!!!

note: this is just my opinon, it is not my intention to offend anyone.

wow...just wow....need I repeat myself.

the end justify the means in this competition, we don't care how much effort she put in or a company of people put in, the overall creative energy is shot when the end product is produced. The overall orange theme from the inside out is tacky, I had thought that subtlety and finesse was also important, not outlandish colors and schemes. So I guess I will repeat myself, some people just expect to win every competition when they throw a stroker, a TT and a paint job by mike all together.
