According to the instruction manual, "Grease (most greases are fine such as lithium based)."
With that said, I'm installing mine right now and I'm using "Uniplex Premium Hi-Temp Grease" which is a lithium complex grease.

I didn't really think the rogue SS would eliminate this, but anyone get a reduction in side to side play? And by this, I mean, when you're in neutral, and in center, you can shake the shifter from side to side slightly. Commonly known as "sloppy shifter syndrome"? I might put the car back up on the jacks and start messing with the linkage to see if I can tighten things up anywhere.
oh, just use any sort of long-life, durable grease. It'll be fine.
