Light Bulbs Question

Light Bulbs Question
The owner's manual show H1 (55W) as the Low Beam and HB2 (60/55W) as High Beam/Fog Light. Forget my ignorance, but does that mean the same bulb is used for High Beam and Fog Light? I'm assuming that if I want to replace my Fog Lights, I have to buy a 60/55W bulb. Can it be replaced with an HID kind without any mods/kits, etc? Is the K, as in 8000K, irrelevant as long as you get the right power, 60/55W? Thanks!

Re: Light Bulbs Question
Yes, the high beam and fog light use the same bulb. If you're going to a "same color" effect, then you want a regular (not HID) bulb with the higher color range (not sure if it's 8000K, though).
You can't put an HID bulb in the regular slot.. the HID bulb's don't run at 12V, and require some sort of power transformer to operate, which is why they have kits for them.
