To paint or not to paint...

My calipars?.....Have a Twilight blue baby, Was thinking about red or even trying to find the same color as the body of the car in a high temp paint or even a powder coating. Since I have a 5AT I dont have the Brembos and wanted a splash of something there, or should I just leave it well alone?...

Re: To paint or not to paint...

i was considering it as well.. found the paint online.. only b!tch i see is the instructions say wait 2 hours before putting your wheel on.. so assuming you can only get one wheel up at a time thats gonna run you 8 hours to get them all painted alone.. then it says do not drive the car for 24 hours to allow the paint to fully dry... damn thats a long time.. I think i would have a rough time spending an entire day painting the things and then not driving my car for another whole day..

Re: To paint or not to paint...

I am in Arizona, I am probably going to try and find a midnight blue paint so as not to contrast to much with the body color. Red might look ok as well, it would match the tail lights. I want to stay away from bright contrasting colors.

As far as one wheel at a time, one way to get around that easily is a set of jack stands. Do them all at the same time, then just wait out the drying time.

Nice job, the red looks good. Wonder how that would look on a Twilight blue car. /ponder...

Re: To paint or not to paint...

It would have been good in red, but the goldish Brembos fit well with Black G's anyway.
