Hi All,

Just a quick question about AT's
Anyone have a creaking noise (slight but noticable) when releasing their brakes. Kind of tough to describe the sound...kind of like when the brake pad is wet, but seems to be happening quite a bit for me lately (even on dry days)
Anybody else hear this?

 

hey, the only time I experience noise from the brakes when I release them is when I haven't driven the G in a while, and there is rust and what-not on the discs. it stops making noise after a couple of stops.

 

Mine is when the cold weather changes.

 

Could be the cold weather, as I don't remember this happening during the Summer time except when I hadn't driven the G all week (see the post above) and then it went away after a couple of stops.
I'll wait until Spring and see what happens.

it's most likely colder weather at night or condensation of water vapor on your discs/rotors. after you stop a few times does the noise continue? if it does try breaking hard a few times to heat them up. does it still continue? if it does get it checked out
