I'm not sure if this is still relevant, just saw it... Anyway, I'd love to detail your cars, but it'd be a long flight. Luckily for you guys, you have two of the best detailers in the U.S in your area:

SoCal, LA area

Jose Fernandez
Superior Shine Mobile Auto Detailing
626-964-0808
www.superiorshine.com
joe@superiorshine.com

Patrick Smith
Excel Detail
2060 E. Ave de Los Arboles #D662
Thousand Oaks, CA
805-374-8685
www.exceldetail.com
patrick@exceldetail.com

Anyone that knows me knows I wouldn't say this lightly - I would let either of those guys work on my car.

Well if you have heavy swirl marks and spiderwebbing, using a random orbital polisher like a Porter Cable is a must! I used to think like you in that a powertool would NEVER touch my G. Since then, I've educated myself a fair amount on detailing (mostly from Picus112). I never knew how much there is involved to detailing your car PROPERLY. I always thought I was doing a good job, but I wasn't even close. If you are doing your entire car inside and out in less than two hours, you aren't detailing your car IMO.
