Major differences between 03-04's and the 05+'s?

I am looking to go and check out a few 6MT Coupes next week. I did notice that the newer coupes got a power boost from 280HP to 298HP or whatever it is. Are there any other changes other than that? Any cosmetic changes also?

Well, right now there is "Which year is Best" thread:

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-coupe-v35-2003-07/129585-best-g35coupe-year.html

That should give you some indication of which year you may want to get and read up on all the blathering that is going on between the years.

To sum it up, the only really good thing that the 03-04 has going for it are the Brembo Brakes. It has more torque but has less HP (which is why the 05-06 is higher redlined). The 05+ has more HP, better interior, and for the 6MT, 19 inch Ray Rims.

The 07 all of the options become standard such as the interactive rear wheel steering, the intergrated front spoiler and wing, the navi goes down by itself when you turn the car off and the rev up motor.

The biggest you get in newer models is braggin rights in a few extra HP's. Then you get some more creature comforts

05's get:

-revised center console
-Mp3 disc play capability
-Revup motor
-19's standard
-Navi screen motorized up/down
-6MT gets a "REV" light/shift indicator in the dash
-Couple new colors... i forget which ones. I think one was Caribean Blue.
-?

06 additions/changes

-Seat belt guide built into the seats
-Projector headlamps
-Revised taillights
-Revised front bumper, side skirts, and trunk lid spoiler on the sport package
-Liquid Platinum is a new color
-Memory seats (i think on the 6mt?)
-Bluetooth capability
-Available rear-active steer
-?

07's i think remain unchanged from 06. I could be wrong....

I know there's other stuff.... i just can't remember.

The only reason i would get a 03-04 is for the Brembo's. But then again, i dunno if it's worth it, because the brakes are easy to upgrade.

Get whatever you can afford since they are all nice. Remember, the 03 are close to the end of the warranty period so you have to take that into consideration.
