Correct Pronunciation of "TEIN"

i've always thought it was pronounced as "tayne", like "wayne" with a T. japanese-english (romaji) is very simple, just pronounce like how it's spelled.

sorta ,its a longer e sound (ay sound for us gaijin), hence the ei (think of it as a double e sound in japanese)

"tein" is the romanji spelling of it. sorry i took 2 years of that **** in college.

yea i couldn't think of a way to explain the TE to the IN sound.

a rep from the company was being interviewed on redline tv and pronounced it "tain" or "tayne"--like stain.
