I feel like an idiot even asking this question, but which is the correct way to say TEIN? Is it:

(1) Tine
(2) Tee-N
or
(3) Ten

I've heard it all three ways, but everyone I asked said they weren't sure if their pronunciation was correct or not...

said the way is spelled. (if you know correct japanese pronouncation). TAY N (the sound N makes, not just N)
