JDM Clock

I also emailed Yoshi about the JDM clock for an '06 but he said he needed the PN - didn't seem interested in looking it up. Does anyone have a download of a JDM parts manual ('05-06)?

Oops, I'm sure it was a typo, but the right side is 26550-CM41A. Not 26555 like the left side.
Why Nissan did it that way, idk. Makes it confusing.

Hey Ryan...You notice the absence of the side running light housings and the separate connector for the truck release power?

Yes it is digital as the previous years are as well. No V35's ever had analogs to my knowledge, only Infiniti does.
I'm going to assume that if you get the clock housing that has the temp readouts too, the temps will be in Celsius rather than Fahrenheit.

Anyone know where or part number to the instrument speed/tach cluster so it reads primarily in kilometers/hr rather than mph?
Even one for Canada would work, being they use kilometers.

The JDM tails don't have the outer 168/194 bulbs like the USDM tails have. I retroed the bulbs in there and wired the tailight mod. The trunk release is a simple fix. Just look at the way your USDM tails are wired and you'll figure it out.

I read somewhere that you can connect 2 ground wires in the harnesses and switch from Farenheit to Celius. Haven't tried it though.

Thanks Kurtis. Side lights must be a US requirement and not in JP. I need to get a dremmel kit to retro those. Better than drilling and filing for the notches, though I guess that could work too. Won't see it so it wouldn't matter I guess.
Yeah, the wiring is a no brainer for trunk release. Just wondered why they came that way when the usdm's are all in one connector. Didn't see the logic for separating into a separate smaller connector when the main connector has an open slot available for that wire.

Hmmm...I'll remember that, thanks. I'll have to research that if I ever find a jdm clock/temp housing, though I'd want to change from the jdm Celsius back to US Fahrenheit format. Can't understand Celsius...lol
