drive mine daily in traffic about 15 miles each way. mpg is about 19 b/c it's mostly 10-55mph traffic and some local. the cabin noise could be better, but I can't complain coming from commuting in an STi... however the gas mileage isnt' taht much better.. if at all lol

I've had my '04 G35c with 6MT for a year and a half now and have been driving it almost every day. I hate it when I don't drive it. I comute in traffic every day for more than an hour each way and I wouldn't enjoy it as much in any other car. If you leave yourself some space so you don't have to stop completely, you'll be suprised how long you can cruise in 1st or 2nd gear without clutchin'. Oh and if you get yourself winter tires like I did, you'll be looking forward to the snow fall. As long as you're safe and responsible, this car could be more fun than anything. So yes, it is good for a daily driver, but in fact I think every Nissan and Infiniti is.

It depends. I've driven my coupe 6mt daily on and off over the last 3 years. My daily drive has been in Austin Tx and I take the longest winding roads I can find. It's fabulous for that and loads of fun. Sitting in Traffic with a clutch is no one's idea of a good commute. But when is sitting in traffic fun?

I live in Dallas and the drive from there to here each week on the interstate would be far better in the sedan. The main issue is that the seats are such a form fit that you don't get to move around a whole lot, and I'm only 150lbs. If you're a big guy, you'll have less wiggle room when if you sit still for along time.

Six months, driven to work daily...except when I use the Lexus. No reliability issues but I wish the seat was more comfy.

it's been my daily driver for over 2 years, >60 miles round trip. No problems so far, just do the regular maintenence and oil changes...I guess my only complaint would be the fuel costs, but i knew that going in. Still sucks though, $45 every five days...

I use my 05 6MT Coupe as a daily but ive only had it for about 2 months. Ive put about 2.5k miles on it since ive had it.

Question... Would it be a bad idea to add an CAI and a Catback Exhaust to a daily driver? To me it seems like performance cars with performance upgrades require more maintenance and are susceptible to have more problems. I dont want to make these upgrades if it will case me to have the car in the shop more often or anything that will cost me more money.

Those are simple upgrades that won't make your car more sisceptible to problems. If your talking about turboing your G than yeaa theres more maintenance involved.
