Is it possible to run 19's up front and 20's rear?

Hi guys, not sure if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering if anyone on the forum's done it and if so, what are some advantages or disadvantages?

I've seen few cars with this kind of setup, I don't really know the reason behind it, which is why I'm asking. Thanks guys!

i wanted to have that set up too! from what i hear 20's are really for show and the ride quality isnt the best but hey, if they only in the back it cant b as bad right? i drive in baltimore alot so my car has it rough and i dont know if 20's in the back are really practical for me but im still thinking about doing it in the spring.

i think 18's and 19's is lot better then 20. going with 20" will slow your shiit down

I think you could do that but your VDC may not work properly. You may have to run thiner sidewall tires on your 20" than the front 19" to keep tire rotation ratios the same so that the VDC can work as normal. That's from what I understand...but don't take my words.

And why was that dump at the first place???

To me, the original poster did not know so he asked. Then we should either answer his question or leave his thread alone...not flaming on him. There is nothing wrong when asking a question when people don't know.

deal, i just dont think it is very smart to run 20" in the rear with 19" in the front maybe 18" front and 19" in the rear....but if he is just going for looks then whatever, but if he wants to be able to atleast beat a toyota camry i would recommend not going with 20 in the rear...
