Every intake on this car produces little to no gain, and 5-6 HP gains are nothing you would ever feel, hell its still within margain of error for a dyno. Before I started tooling around inside the actual block, I had every bolt on imaginable for the car. Sure, they make what I have now work better, but for a stock G35 with a JWT/Ztube or any CAI for that matter, its there for you to think your cars faster (which it really wont be) and for the lovely whistle I'm slowly starting to hate more and more. If you want to "performance tune" this car, be ready to shell out a couple grand at the very least. If you just want to do basic intake/exhaust, don't expect much, the cars very well near its "limits" in stock form. To be honest, cams and heads really didnt do what I expected either, but hey, the car sounds meaner now and all I spent probably 3-4 (maybe more) grand on bolt ons, for very little gains. I spent 4-5 grand on internals, for moderate gains. No, my car is not F/I, I wanted to (when I still was "mod happy") make a full built N/A G35. For money vs performance gain, this is probably the worst car to use. If thats what you care about, get a SRT neon, evo, rex, or hell even a F-body.
