Actually i just looked it up on the www.bmwusa.com site. Yeah it's a rough marked up price but since it's new I'm pretty sure unless you have some sick hook ups that you won't find one that is a whole lot cheaper from what the site is quoting.

The 335i with the vishu xede is wow.. all i can say is wow.. check this out http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=428955. Its all relative depending on the dyno but he gained ~60hp for 1300$. The 335i is a beast.

1. E46 sedan and added a S54 (E46 m3 Engine) with SMG the transmission, using M5 components
2. E30 325is sedan also with a S54 and SMG. Colaboration with is older cousin-a Kaiser doctor in SF.
He mades every other mod child's play. Here are the links:

335i doesnt have a sequential turbo set up. They are parallel, one each for 3 cylinders

I raced one about a month ago on the way home, I was just minding my own business when I saw a car come up fast in my rearview mirror. The guy started flashing for me to move over but hell I was going 75 in a 65 and I was not about to move across, so he pulled next to me and gave me this mean stare and floored it, that is when I left him in far behind....nice cars but there is always something faster

true, u can spend the diff on modding a G and make it as fast or faster than a 335i.. BUT, u wont have ur warranty anymore, while the bmw has that awsome 4 year warranty intact. i guess that would be a BIG diff.
it's also much easier and shouldnt be too expensive to mod those those turboed 335i.. alotta people are putting out some crazy numbers with simple mods on those 335i, the potential is alotta greater than the E46 M3.
335i runs pretty much equal 1/4 as the last M3 and it cost thousands cheaper. im sure it doesnt handle as well on a track but most of us dont drive that extreme anyways. plus there is always aftermarket suspensions you can get to make it even better.. i think the new 335i is a BARGAIN compare to the old M3..
now, is a 335i really a bargain? it's all relative anyways.. i think it's worth the money. sure its more expensive than a G, but its better in every way and performs alot better.. and sure is a bargain compare the E46 M3
