According to the tach the redline is 7k but looks like Nissan left some room so you wouldn't hit the limiter. Does anyone know what rpm the fuel Cut/Rev limiter is set at?

This is coming from someone with the 03 non rev but.... I believe all the vq's redlines are equal (03/04 if you TS the ecu) at 7200 rpms. However, (again dont know this is true of rev ups) even with aftermarket cams and a few other goodies, my motor actually looses power after 7000 rpms. 7600 would be insane and I would forsee things breaking at this rpm, as the motor even feels as if its straining in the short 200 rpms above 7k I can go to.

7600 rpm

granted i have an 06 6mt sedan but its the exact same.

drifted a turn with a little to much right foot and the needle held 7600 like it was glued.

interesting that the 07 redlines at 7600 now

Ok so i am not crazy....I was getting onto the highway and i was in second accelerating when i turned to check my mirror as i heard a horn. when i looked back at my tach it was at 7600 so i shifted 3rd and it chirped the tires. I can't belive that nissan would leave a 600rpm window on the fuel cut.
