You won't know until you get it on a lift. I was in my friends nieghborhood and those damn speed humps scratched my car undercarriage every time! And i thought that was bad

you can pretty much mess up anything... the car is not made to hit a speed humg that fast - my friend hit one on accident at like 50 and needed new suspension but that was on a truck sooo... it probaboly put so much strain on everything could of put pressure cracks in stuff etcc....

I read that as 5ft in distance, not in height.

Is your steering wheel straight while going straight?
Does it track straight?
Any vibrations in the steering wheel or new funny noises going over bumps (at safe speeds )?

If your answers are... yes, yes, no, no, then probably ok. But for piece of mind, go get it checked out and know your roads prior to going that speed.
Your lucky it was a speed bump and not a ramp or big drop off dip in that road.
Be careful out there.

I know the bottom hit the pavement, but when i got out to check my car there was no visible damage to bumper, and later i drove the car there seems to be no problems, what could have gone wrong and should i go and maybe get this checked out? oh yea and im 16 so if i fget it checked i gotta hide it from my parents....
You are a GLEAMING example of why it is not a good idea to give a high powered car to a little boy. I seriously hope your parents take away your keys when they find out that your trashed your car. It is either that or Darwin will show you the business end of his back hand. Either way I am sure I will see your face on an "Own3d" picture pretty soon.

no kidding. the next thread could be "just wrecked my g, i'm f***in' pissed". but seriously, check your tires for bulges especially along the inside sidewall. potholes and speedbumps will squeeze that tire so much and quicky that the air has nowhere to go and makes lumps and destroys the ply's integrity. those things could pop on the highway which = high speed blow-out, and i'd be concerned for some mother driving with her kids along side of you.

I know when your 16 and you get a car like that you want to do crazy things but be careful!

check the resonator, I'm sure there is a dent in it now and the exhaust probably doesn't sound like it echoes anymore
