Hi everyone my gf wants to buy me a late gift for christmas but i dont mind that. I'm looking into the v1 and im wondering is buying from ebay better then the site? or is the v1.8 that much different then the older one? Does pop2 have a big affect? Any comments would help =). Merry Christmas!

 

Santa (AKA My GF) gave me mine the other day for an early x-mas gift. It is new so must be the 1.8? Not sure how to read the detector but it did save my *** yesterday when I was bombing to the airport late for our flight!

What is the Pop2? I dont have the manual and **** with me..........

 

You can always send them in and have the latest software installed.

 

i picked up an extra 1.7 off ebay a couple weeks ago. its in good condition. a small chip in it but nothin bad... it'll come with a concealed display also. pm me if you're interested

 

EBAY is full of busted ones, get the real deal, trust me on this one...


POP is a type of radar (actually uses k or ka band) that shoots incredibly fast, as in like 58 millisecconds or less, its not real reliable, not used a ton across the country, but where they do use it its hard to detect, the new V1 has 2 band (K and ka) pop coverage, the best laser coverege around, and is a damn good detector (i own one and also a passport escort 8500 X50)
