The rims on that car looked kind of white to me. Not like an OE rim at all.

They upgraded the look of the interior in '05. But the aluminum trim came in the '03 and all as an option.

I thought anything pre 05 was colored plastic - not real aluminum.

I was under the impression that the use of real aluminum didn't come about until the 05 model year.

From Infiniti:

For 2005, the G35’s interior offers a new, even higher quality look and feel, along with a redesigned instrument panel and console area. Materials and textures have been refined to provide a richer impression and the use of real aluminum and new wood-tone trim provides a degree of authenticity to the interior.

2003 plastic 'aluminum'

2005 real aluminum

The difference is notable in person.

I find it remarkable that everyone calls BS. Anyone can put any wheels on any car they choose if the bolt pattern matches. I don't know why they would, but anything is possible. Maybe that's a picture of their car with winter tires on? Who knows...

just build a base auto coupe at infiniti.com and you will see. the wheels in the ebay auction could have came with the car. both coupes are automatics.

i'm not sure about the sedan wheels. maybe a sedan owner can add.
I already did, and I regret it.. LOL..

Prebul Infiniti in Chattanooga is sketchy. I used to live there. They wouldn't let me test drive a coupe so I went to Nashville and bought it.

Base model= automatic with 17" rims
Sport model= automatic with 18" rims
6mt model= manual with 19" rims

And yes, this goes for the 2006 model too. I bought an '06 and still have the brochure for it. So there's your answer.
