Head Unit switch question

Hello all,

I'm wanting to switch my OEM Bose head unit for an '03 coupe. The question is: can I switch my non dual temperature head unit for one that has the dual temp button?

Thanks!

I'm sure it would work, but if your car did not come with the DUAL climate control, the DUAL button will probably just not function.

Optional
The USDM climate controls and your head unit are one piece——so you will be unable to use your current HVAC controls if you upgrade the head unit. Purchase the JDM HVAC controller (see one at grubbsperformance.com or infinitiparts.com) and add your DUAL button to it. They also have the double-din bracket/console trim on there too (compare prices before you buy).

There is a step-by-step how-to somewhere around here. Use the SEARCH function to find it and you'll be on your way!

Re: HU

So what would happen if I tried to use a head unit that has a dual temp button? I was assuming that the button would just be inoperative......
