1st mods/Best bang for your buck

Just picked up an 04 DG coupe and was wondering what everyones first mods would be (ie what are the weakest parts of the G that need to be addressed).
In addition, what are the best bang for your buck mods, in particular the engine (ie intake, filter, plenum spacer, etc). thanks for your opinions/comments.

Hotchkis sway bars. Other than the plenum spacer, most of the other mods won't get you much appreciable horsepower. I put on the ztube and K&N and there's really not much difference. I think you'll see more significant results by modifying the suspension. Of course if you really want bang for the buck, tires are easily the best mod. On the track, R-compounds will easily shave the greatest amount of time off your lap compared to an intake, exhaust, etc.

Do you have Brembos? If not, upgrade your brakes.

you guys should probably mention that if he gets mrev2 and a spacer he will run lean and need a tune...

then again, tunes are suggested no matter what even though most people dont bother

i put in a MD 5/16 spacer + jwt pop + nissan z tube on my sedan as a first mod. the spacer will give u a bit more hp but none from the jwt. You just get a deeper sexier growl

dont forget to reset the ecu once they are all installed.
