3m clear bra

i was wondering how many of yall have the 3m clear bra on your front bumpers?

and do yall think it would be hard to install the bumper by yourself?

i was watching the videos of installing a 3m clear bra on a bumper of a m3. and it didnt seem hard at all. it look just like installing a 3m on a headlights.

I would say a good many, if not most people have a clear bra of some sort on their front end. It's a must!

Don't try the install by yourself. It's not easy and will look crappy if not done perfectly.

Definitely use a professional to install it.

Do it earlier before you got dings on your front bumper.

I have had this product on no less than 7 cars and it has always been professionally installed. It's on my '06 5AT now both 3M and Venture Shield varieties.

Don't try it no matter how easy it might look in the video, trust me it isn't.

Everyone that has responded has said have it done for you. How many people do you need to say that before you'll believe them? Why ask for advice and then ignore it?

I am always amazed that someone gets a $35-40K car, and then tries to go cheap on it. Have this done by someone who knows how to do it, or you'll be doing it for less than minimum wage.

make sure to get it installed professionally by a reputable installer who uses single piece film for the bumper....

it's not about being cheap. for me, personally, i love to clean my own car, work on my own car. it's like a little hobby i have... does that make me cheap? so what if he wants to try installing the 3m clear bra himself? what's it to you? i say try it, learn from your mistakes, and most importantly have fun!

how the hell are you to question me like that? all i asked was how many people have done it by their self. i was not ignoring the people that said have it done by a professional. i just wanted to know, is it so bad to ask? is it not what these forums are for? when you see me rolling down the street with a piece of 3m dragging and looking jacked up on my ride then you can say whatever. so before you go all jumpy on me think twice before what you say.

who is going cheap?? alot of people on this forum love to do work on their vehicle on their own. like the others said, is it so cheap to work and install parts by yourself? so does it make me cheap if i rather hand wash my car by myself than give it to other people to wash? ill tell you what, how about when i get my new clear corners in, ill let the dealer install them on for me cause i dont wanna be so "cheap".
