Ok people, well im on a mission to change these light bulbs into something more interesting ( color of the HID's )

I just do not know how to access the bulbs in the actual compartment

I also hope some of you guys can give me the actual type of bulbs needed to replace the stock ones (194's?)

Use a flat screwdriver. Start pulling it out from the corner.

You can get the LED bulbs from Superbrightleds.com
For the Dome/Door lights - use 3022

Mine is 3022-x9 LED Festoon bulb (Blue)

I used a butter knife. The key for the map lights above your head is to remove the whole unit first, including the colored plastic surround around the two clear lenses. Slide the dull knife straight up in the back and you should be able to lower the whole unit and then get to the lights. It's been a while since I did it so I hope I'm remembering correctly.
