Any physics geniuses out there? Ap physics Problem

well i have a quick ap physics problem that i hope someone can solve for me or at least help me...

A 300g oscillator has a speed of 95,4cm/s when its displacement is 3.0cm and 71.4cm/s when its 6.0cm. What is the oscillators maximum speed.

please help it would be appreciated. -derek

im not sure if u worded the problem correctly, but if you did, the maximum speed should be achieved with teh smallest displacement possible... this is due to the centrifugal force and circular motion. check your book on the section with angular momentum.

think of an ice skater when they spin
at first their arms are wide and they look graceful, then they tuck their arms in and they begin to spin faster. same thing with oscilation, its the same motion.

hope this helps!
