Question on 03 vs 06 headlights

I have an 03 coupe and I am thinking of switching out the headlights and putting 2006 coupe headlights in their place. I heard that with the 06 headlights the low beam xenon headlight is also the high beam and then that the bottom light is just a fog light. With the 03 the xenon is only your low beam and then the lower light is both your fog light and high beam.

Now my question is if i put in the 06 headlights will the lower fog light remain my high beam and fog light or will it just be my fog light...and or will my top xenon light be both my high beam and low beam?

before you get body slammed to go search, I will tell you, 06's bottom is only foglight from now on and the rest is top. Yes it's plug and play and no you cant use your old bulbs at ALL. good luck

well what i really want to know is when i replace my 03 headlights with the 06 headlights is will i have to mess with wires since the top on the 06 headlight is both the high/low beam. I know that the earlier bulbs will not fit in the 06 housing, but i need to know what to do so that i have a high beam basically. Since the current 03 fog/high beam wont fit into the 06 fog light spot will i loose my high beam? Because if i replace the 03 with the 06 the current 03 set up is already pre wired for the fog/high beam is there a bulb that will fit in the 06 housing that can function as the fog/high beam or do i have to mess with the wiring...

Do you guys get what im saying? i dont ven understand what im writing...

as far as i know, if you get the 06 headlights they will function like normal 06 headlights and you will have bi-xenons

So if i buy 06 headlights all i need to do is buy the bulbs to fit the 06 housing and thats it? No cutting or re-wiring? Just plug them in and im ready to go....?

Correct. I have '06 projectors on my '04 and the top serves as your low beams AND high beams. No cutting/splicing, strictly plug and play.
