I had a friend thrash my passenger door panel pretty good with a protective boot when he broke his foot.

I went to an Infiniti dealer in the Dallas area, and asked for an estimate to replace the panel. The service rep said don't do that, and referred my to a gentleman named Grady at North Texas Auto Restoration. He came to the dealership, and fixed the door panel to were it looks like new. I was amazed, and the cost was only $85. Basically, he heated the plastic door panel, and textured it. He even repaired scratches to the metal trim on the door speaker. It is not something I would try on my own. He told me he does door panels on G's all them time.

I would say either call a few auto restoration shops in your area, or see if a dealership can refer you to someone.

What plastic are we talking about?
The inside door handles?
Cuz, mine is all scratched and the paint is chipping

I'd used Armor All and while it doesn't fix the scratches, it coats it to a point where it's not AS noticeable.

I'm talking about the actual door panel. Specifically that area were the driver's and passenger's feet like to thrash the door panel by the door speaker. It is all one piece on mine ('06 coupe). Not the interior door handle.

Did that make sense?

i have scratches to the right of the passenger door speaker. I use armor all to hide it. no use in replacing it. passengers tend to use their foot to open our heavy doors.

If you guys are talking about the black scuff marks from peoples shoes, I have used Bug and Tar remover and it works pretty good. It will take a little time. U kind of have to sit there and work it out. Some deap marks do not come off completely but it will take the majority of it off. I just did mine last weekend. Hope this help.

all you can do is hide it... no point in paying all that money to repair it.
