I was looking at the bmws the other day and I really like how at night it has two leds that shine down onto the stick shift. I am thinking of putting in two custom leds where sunglasses go that shine down. Anybody have a clue as to where I would start? Where should I get the two led bulbs also. Thanks

 

It's been done before. A member put a led in the bottom of the mirror I think. too lazy to search for the thread but it's on here somewhere. Try radioshack for the leds.

yeah but i am thinking it would be a lot less trouble just putting it where your sunglasses go ya know.

 

my wife had a 2004 accord sedan and had an orange ambiance (sp?) light coming down from the sunglass holder like you've described. i switched it out with a white LED and it looked 10x better. i bet you can find one of the "snake" lookin' LED cables and route it behind the mirror for an incognito look.

 

can't remember who but someone on the forum added leds in the sunglasses holder as well...definitely easier to do it there but looks better if you take the time and do it to the mirror IMO
