And to your statement that the highway was wide open at 5Am and this justifies doing 150mph, I was driving 65 at 4 am on a wide open highway and a deer ran out in front of me. Luckily I was able to slow down to 40 before hitting it. If I had been doing 100 I'm quite positive that I would have been killed. But what am I talking about? Nothing bad happens on an open, straight road at 4 or 5 in the morning.
I agree about US driver's being dumb. I am speaking of myself only. There is absolutely nothing u can do when you are doing 150mph and U lose control either on autobahn or US. There are a lot of things that u can do to prevent losing control. Have both hands on the steering wheel, when u need to brake do it very slowly, check the tire condition and pressure before u do that. There was a case when i was driving about 75 mph hour when i needed to swerve rapidly (because of some girl was doing over 100mph in a SUV) and the cars back went out to about 25 degree. I was able to keep the car on 1 lane only and corrected the slide on one try without swerving left and right.
Ya im familiar with driving a car especially mine.

Yep, exactly. And the moron yesterday was wondering why some members were giving him a hard time when he posted a thread about his street race with a Civic. This is exactly why!!

of course no one deserves to die. I have given condolences to the families on both sides, as for the driver? He is responsible for his own actions...it's just sad that both familes have to pay for his moral debts.

klubbheads, if you think you know youre car well and youre a good enough driver to go 152 youre stupid. youre one of those people who dont get it. whether you can drive or not, check your tire pressures, whatever its not even about that. accidents happen and youre defending the behaviour that causes them. you might feel comfortable at that speed but the guy merging onto the highway in front of you, or someone on the side of the road you dont see might be the ones who have to deal with your bull****.

I never said i was comfortable going at that speed, I only did that once when i had the chance. Accidents can happen at any place at any speed. U are a dumb *** and u talk out of ur *** without understanding the conditions i did in.
