Youthful Enthusiasm

First off, for those that don't know me, I am mid 40's. I have noticed that I get loads of compliments, thumbs up etc from the under 30 set. Guys my age don't even acknowledge the car, almost like they try to ingore it. It's kind of funny how so many people loose their enthusiasm for things as they get older. Stuck up is probably an accurate description. I see a nice car, I tell people "nice car". No jealousy, I just think it's great when someone is blessed with nice wheels. To all those guys my age that are too tight$((% to show some emotion, maybe they should go get layed and lighten up a bit. Life is way to short to spend half of it being a ********!

To those who compliment my car, thanks cause it makes me feel good. God knows I don't many compliments on my grey hair. For guys my age that say "midlife crisis", wrong!! I'm not prepared to roll over and die quite yet.

Re: Youthful Enthusiasm

Great post, tele!! One of my neighbors told me I must be middle aged, and I said yeah my mid-life crisis I guess. He replied, no, it just means you have enough money to do whatever you want and choose to do so.

I'd have to agree with that!

I'm 48 and even bought a cool pair of shades to go with my coup, and my grey hair!

haha

Re: Youthful Enthusiasm

hahahahaha you all are funny
but i must say that i, too, like to be complemented on my car, as do i complement other people's nice cars
Sometimes i even go so far as to say..... Can I kick your tire???
Whats the point to be stuck up when its much easier to be friendly and loose...
Hooter, can i kick your tire?!?!?!?!?!?!

Just don't miss and hit the wheel, or worse yet the side of the car!

So how is she holding up sam? You like the snow we've been getting? Gotten bogged down in the drifts or anything? You must leave a trail of flat snow behind you.

Totally agree. As this generation starts to grow up, hopefully when we're your age we won't be so stuck up

Hey EdRedS

This car performs just great with the Snowsports. I haven't had any problems with plowing yet, but if it keeps up snowing I might. Handling is great. No Problem!!

VettRN

Get the spoiler, I did!! The only time I'm an old fart is when I look in the mirror and wonder where all time time went. I body build at the gym 5 days a week with my 19 year old son and his friends and none of them can touch me. Ticks them off!! I told him if he ever starts to catch up, I'll take steroids cause I can afford them, LOL

Hey VettRN, from one 'old fart' to another --"Happy Birthday" although now you're one up on me.
On the wing 'thing': Why not do a poll for something to do? I think the 'nays' will outnumber the 'yays' 2-1. Just a thought

Re: Youthful Enthusiasm

Sorry EdRedS.

I have different logons at work and home so I don't confuse myself. Sorry to cause confusion. I will change my logon at work when I get a chance.
