Exclamation Hood Hinges Maintenence

When i purchased my 04 coupe last year i noticed the hood would wobble slightly when i would raise it up, didnt think much of it. Well the other day i tried to lift it again and i noticed the passenger corner part of the hood jammed into the fender when i tried to lift the hood. I was thinking well its cold, i live the chicago, and the hood hinge was probably stuck. Well i took the car to the dealership with this problem, along with my fuel guage being wacky, and they lubbed up the hinges on the hood. On my copy of the work order it says the hinges require periodic lubrication, just a FYI.

All hinges on your car require periodic lubrication. You should try to get out there and lube up your door hinges and lock mechanisms, hood latch, hood hinges, trunk latch and trunk hinges like every 3 months or so with white lithium grease.

You're also supposed to lube the sunroof seal with wet-type lithium grease to prevent it from creaking when you open it.
