In the long run, dealership's make more money off the maintenance. They're always more than happy to take your car regardless where you purchased it.
As long as the vehicle still have factory warranty, you shouldn't be afraid of purchasing it from a private dealership. If it didn't then I'd buy it from an Infiniti Dealership since they do their 100 point inspection.

It's pretty easy to find an 03 for $21k OR LESS.
Here's an excellent 04 for 35k miles, 6 speed and navi asking $21.9

Ok nice little find it depends on where you are located. If you are lucky to live in an area where people dont value the car then lucky you. Now what if i needed to fly there that ups the price. I've seen cars in texas and cali that i wanted but the time spent just couldn't justify it. Mind you i was looking for only one car a CB with Black interior.
If i would have settled for any G i could have fund a lower price as well and bumped the miles up

As far as I'm concerned my local Infiniti dealership treats me like I bought the car from them, which only makes sense if they want my current and any future business.

Only thing a "private dealership" won't be able to tell you on the car is its maintenance history....But any Nissan/Infinti dealer can find that out for you.
All you need do is give them the VIN.
Any Infiniti dealer will welcome your business even tho you bought elsewhere.
If you're in doubt then talk to them in advance of your purchase.
Actually you might be wise to get an Infiniti dealer to do an inspection on the car b4 you buy.
He can then have a reasonably unbiased close look at the car and check its maintenance history for you.
I would think that service would cost you about $100 but would be $100 very well spent.

more than 21k? how many miles are you looking to get? I went to an infiniti dealership telling them that and they said for low 20's, you'd be looking for an 03 with like 50k miles, funny hting is after looking thru autotrader and ebay i figurd out they werent joking
im lookin to get a 03-04 coupe 6mt with no more than 45k miles...ive been looking around and i saw some cars on cars.com and autotrader.com for the low 20's but i heard when you go into the dealerships the prices are always higher, like they tell you a lower price on the internet to get you to come in and look at the car....is that true??
